Recreation Events for 2020 (MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL FUTURE EVENTS):
Oct. 15th, 6-8 pm- REVERSE Halloween Parade
Come dressed up and drive through the Grantville Volunteer Fire Company’s Station to pick up free Halloween goodies safely! EHT Park and Rec and GVFC have organizations such as the VFW, Lions’ Club, Historical Society, and more that will be set up inside. While driving through the building, MASKS ARE REQUIRED to be worn when vehicles have their windows down. Rain or shine, come visit us!
Oct. 24th - Fall Fest 2-4 PM
Outside, in the Community Park down by the one-room schoolhouse - Download the registration form on this page, we are still hosting our annual pumpkin carving and hayride event spread out during the day instead of crowding under the pavilion at night. Tables will be limited to one per family, registration IS limited so sign up asap to reserve your table. One to two families max will be allowed each hayride socially distanced. MASKS ARE REQUIRED away from your table. The gazebo will be decorated for picture opportunities. There will be hot cocoa, coffee, water, and prepackaged snacks available, volunteers will come to each table to take orders. Each registered person gets a snack and a drink included.
Oct. 29th, 6-8 PM - Trick or Treat Night in the Twp. (Rain or shine)
Dec. 5th - Christmas Ride Through Winter Wonderland 2-4 pm
Sign-ups will be out soon and MASKS ARE REQUIRED at this event. Similar set up to Fall Fest, we will be set up down near the one-room schoolhouse in the Community Park. Book a horse-drawn carriage ride for four and/or book pony rides in the Park. Bring your letters or come write a letter to Santa to drop off in our special mailbox for him to receive Christmas wishes. The gazebo will be decorated for festive picture opportunities. There will be hot cocoa, coffee, water, and prepackaged snacks available. Each registered individual gets a drink and snack included.
