Meeting Oct. 20th, 7:30 PM: Consideration for Adoption ORDINANCE No. 2020-05

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of East Hanover, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, intends to consider for adoption and to vote upon enactment of an Ordinance entitled and summarized hereinafter at its regularly scheduled meeting to be held on October 20, 2020, at 7:30 p.m., at the East Hanover Township Municipal Building. The title of the proposed Ordinance is:

THE EAST HANOVER TOWNSHIP STORMWATER MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE DAUPHIN COUNTY STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN.

ORDINANCE No. 2020-05

A summary of the proposed Ordinance is as follows:

The Township Board of Supervisors recognizes the necessity to establish a Stormwater Management Program in accordance with the Dauphin County Stormwater Management Plan. The purpose of the Ordinance is to promote the health, safety, and welfare of Township residents. This Ordinance is to memorialize and otherwise set forth terms, conditions, and provisions which shall govern the administration, management, and operation of the stormwater system and the performance of other functions with respect to the stormwater system.
