Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the EHT Zoning Ordinance 11.17.20 7:30pm

LEGAL NOTICE

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the East Hanover Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the East Hanover Township Zoning Ordinance, and to receive and review written or verbal public comment relative thereto, on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., prevailing time, via the Zoom Application. You are hereby further notified that following said public hearing, the Board of Supervisors of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in accordance with Section 610 of Act 247 of 1968, as amended, the “Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code”, may consider enactment of the proposed ordinance, during their regular meeting.

A summary of the Amendment to the East Hanover Township Zoning Ordinance, as aforesaid, is as follows:

SECTION 1: The Zoning Map of East Hanover Township is hereby amended as follows:

A. The Rural Agricultural (RA) District as shown on the Zoning Map is hereby decreased by deleting therefrom all that certain land more fully described below, said land hereby being hereafter designated, reclassified and rezoned to be included in and added to the Highway Commercial (HC) District and the Residential Medium Density (RMD) District as more fully set forth below.

B. The Highway Commercial (HC) District and the Residential Medium Density (RMD) District are hereby increased by adding thereto and including therein all that certain land more fully described below.

C. The following described land situated in East Hanover Township is hereby rezoned and reclassified from Rural Agricultural (RA) to Highway Commercial (HC):

· All of 113 North Crawford Road, Grantville, PA 17028, more accurately identified as Dauphin County Tax Parcel No. 25-017-203; and

· All of 119 North Crawford Road, Grantville, PA 17028, more accurately identified as Dauphin County Tax Parcel No. 25-017-003; and

· A portion, as more fully described in the Ordinance, of the property identified as Dauphin County Tax Parcel No. 25-017-250.

CONTAINING: 1,283,443 Square Feet / 29.46 Acres, more or less.

D. The following described land situated in East Hanover Township is hereby

rezoned and reclassified from Rural Agricultural (RA) to Residential Medium Density (RMD):

· All of the property identified as Dauphin County Tax Parcel No. 25-017-243; and

· A portion, as more fully described within the Ordinance, of the property identified as Dauphin County Tax Parcel No. 25-017-250.

CONTAINING: 2,089,351 Square Feet / 47.96 Acres, more or less.

SECTION 2: The Township Zoning Officer is directed to revise the Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.

SECTION 3: Except as amended by this Ordinance, the Zoning Map shall remain in all other respects in full force and effect.

SECTION 4: Effective Date. Five (5) days after enactment.
